    ANZAC Day in Ohura is a heartfelt community event that honors the legacy and sacrifices of the ANZACs. The commemoration is held at the Ohura Memorial, bringing together residents and visitors in a poignant service of remembrance. The event is warmly supported by Waipu Marae, Ohura School, and the Ohura Fire Department, each contributing to the sense of community and solidarity that defines the day. Following the solemnities at the memorial, attendees are invited to the Memorial Hall, where refreshments are served. This gathering offers a space for reflection, connection, and sharing stories, highlighting the enduring spirit of unity and gratitude within the Ohura community.

    Join us in the heart of Ohura, for a vibrant celebration of local flavor, creativity, and community spirit! Wander through rows of sunlit stalls bursting with farm-fresh goodness—crunchy apples, golden honey, and organic veggies straight from the earth. Indulge in mouthwatering treats: sizzling sausages, baked bread, and decadent homemade pastries, paired with aromatic Chai Latte brewed right here in the region. Hunt for treasures or send the kids while listening to live music.
